We are people marked by dependence- not dependence on man or his systems- but dependent on His mercy, grace, and unchangeable word. Imagine if God constantly changed His mind and arbitrarily deci ded things. That would be a dangerous combination for someone with all power and authority! You could never please Him because you never knew what to expect. We would be hopeless in no time at such a desperate situation. Thankfully, God is unchanging and His word never fails. In our decidedly limited view of things, we may find ourselves trying to figure out what God could possibly be doing in our lives at this moment, but those are the moments to trust and develop that dependence. It's not about being a great man or a great woman; it's about being a true representation of the Christ in the earth. Our lives are lived for Him, and through Him, we have everything we need. We must recognize our dependence and need. Like the farmer needs the sun and the rain to yield any harvest, we need Him. We just keep looking to Him until He shows us His great mercy (Psalm 123:2). This newsletter has now become bi-monthly, but as always, be sure to see the updates- great new articles as well as our church and community events, sermons to listen to, and much more. This website is a resource that could very well change someone one's life as they are encouraged to receive God's love or when you invite family, friends, co-workers or whoever else. It is designed to be a glimpse into our vision and heart for Juneau and the world. If you do see any mistakes or problems or think of something that would be a great addition, just e-mail me and we can take a look at it! We come to God as little children. We really have nothing to offer, but He loves us completely and fashions us into who He created us to be. He is unchangeable and we are glad! We serve a mighty God. Multiplied blessings,

Four Tests to Receiving the Double Portion By Sandie Freed From www.elijahlist.com This is an encouragement to stand where God has placed us though we face rejection, hardship, and anything else. If we don't, we will find ourselves circling the same test. Let's grab hold of what God is saying and move into this double portion! This is the season when we are confronting demonic structures that we may have once defeated. We have come full-circle once more and God is charging us to fully put some old things under our feet...to fully put to death the works of the flesh, tradition, and mindsets. We have a choice as to whether we will rise up and get victory over the old things that hinder us, or circle-around again next year, and battle once more. For an increased anointing, one of the first things we must understand in this new place with God's Spirit, is in order to INCREASE we must RELEASE. Once again...Release to Increase... (read more)
Restoring Fathers to SonsBy Steve Wilson From www.church4allnations.com This is a challenge to believe and an opportunity to grow. God is speaking about spiritual fathers and sons being restored so may we grab hold of this and put our faith in His word! Mal 4:6 - "And he will restore the hearts of the fathers to their children, and the hearts of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the land with a curse." This is the last verse in the Old Testament and is a prophetic promise which will be fulfilled. There is to be in the last days a restoration of the spirit of Elijah, a prophetic spirit that compels fathers to emerge, turn toward the sons and at the same time draws sons to align them- selves again with the fathers...
