Pastors Daymond and Jenny Geary: This dynamic team began their work in Juneau, AK in 1989 continuing the New Testament Church started by Vaughn and Jan Newman and Flo Ellers. Originally from Kentucky, the Gearys moved to Oklahoma to follow God's leading and be part of a growing network of churches there. Less than a year later, they were sent to Alaska to pastor this church. Since their setting foot here in Juneau, they have had a heart for the people and willingness to pay the cost and see this city transformed by the power of Jesus Christ. Now they are ministering the power and love of Jesus all over the United States and throughout the world.
Pastor Daymond is a leader in the International Christian Leadership Connections national team and is on the Board of Directors of Family of Faith College in Shawnee, OK (more info). He speaks around the world at conferences and churches to see that people enter into the true relationship with Jesus that he has purchased for us. Jenny is also an experienced conference speaker who relays the truth of God's word with grace and insight. She is also currently leading one of our Sunday evening small groups which focuses on family relationships and God's perfect plan for our lives. They feel their primary focus is on prayer and releasing others into their calling and gifts in God. This precious couple leads with destiny and purpose, and they have a heart of love for God's people, truly living "for the one."
Associate Pastors Jason and Andrea Stasyszen:  Jason and Andrea moved themselves and their son, Noah, to Juneau nearly four years ago as they felt the stirring of God to be a part of this ministry. They have ministered together all over the world through singing, teaching, and other ministry with passion and grace, imparting that which God has spoken and released to them. Not only the associate pastor, Jason is the worship leader and youth pastor while Andrea is the children's church coordinator. Both graduates of Family of Faith Christian College and trained as teachers, they feel the drawing to train up new generations to stand in the foundational truths of the Bible and walk in the ways of the Holy Spirit.
They minister with hearts of worship and have produced several independent recordings including two under Jason Scott Music. They are now branching out to further teach the principles and vision of worship through Spark2Flame conferences and retreats. |
