Prayer Focus-Seeking the Unchangeable

The enemy would like us to believe that our problems, circumstances, and situations are all-important and cannot be changed.  Sometimes it certainly feels that way, but it just isn't the truth.  We're not supposed to hand ourselves over to ignorant optimism either, but we trust that when our God speaks the heavens and earth move and bow to His will.  What's your defining situation right now that you can't escape or get peace from?  The good news is that God has already spoken about that thing and if we take hold of what He has spoken and walk it out in obedience, our lives will never be the same.

Realize that there are no obstacles that are immovable There are no circumstances that are unchangeable.  But our God and His word are absolutely fixed, immovable and unchangeable!   The lack, the oppression, the difficulties are not unchangeable, but we worship the God who is more than enough.  We worship the Unchangeable.  He is the King and the Lord.  He reigns and He has spoken that the city belongs to the worshippers.  We have an inheritance and we stand firm in the grace and power of the Holy Spirit to claim and see what has yet to be seen, hearing what has yet to be heard.  He is an amazing and good God!

Our God always remembers His promise, not only that but he opens up our eyes to see that he has provided for the promise.  As Pastor Daymond spoke concerning Hagar in the book of Genesis, she was sent away from her master with Ishmael, and God said he heard the boy crying and that He would save him.  He didn't hear her cry but He heard the promise crying out!  We are part of that promise given to Abraham that his descendents would be as numerous as the sand on the seashore and would bless the nations.  We hold promises that are bigger than we are and affects countless lives, but we have to stand firm.  We cry out to our God this day along with the promise and we know He is faithful to every word He has spoken!

God has declared this to be a year of advancement for our lives, families, church, and nation. His strength is overcoming the weakness and the disappointments of the past.  We are in a new day!  We may have felt like we’ve prayed it all, but that just means we pray it again! And we keep standing in His promise because they will not fail and will not fall out of God’s perfect timing.  Matthew 7:7, 8 (AMP) says, “Keep on asking and it will be given you; keep on seeking and you will find; keep on knocking [reverently] and [the door] will be opened to you. For everyone who keeps on asking receives; and he who keeps on seeking finds; and to him who keeps on knocking, [the door] will be opened.”

What a good God we serve!  It’s not a conditional “maybe;”  He says that if we seek we will find.  He is the Unchangeable and we worship and seek Him as such.  We delight in coming into His presence and standing in faith for the fulfillment of His word.  The obstacles are changing and bowing down as we move forward by the power of His word and the abundance of His grace.  Amen!
