Prayer Focus- There Is an Anointing to GatherThere is an anointing on God’s people that causes demons to tremble. It’s not of our own devices, but of His Spirit. We need to be declaring that as God’s kingdom advances in our city and around the world, that the kingdoms of religion built on the praise and honor of men are crumbling to the ground. If we have given way to any of these, then we must let them go now and say, “Let Christ be honored and exalted in our midst!”  God is placing an anointing on His people to gather. We prophesy this anointing to gather on the words that we speak and the lives that we live. We are gathering people to the cross of healing. We are gathering worshippers to the throne of God. We are gathering finances for the advancement of His glory. We are people who are anointed to gather! Declare that over your life and over the body of Christ in this time.
What do we do once we gather? Our God is releasing life and resurrection power in and through His church. He is not the God of the dead, but of the living and we are part of that inheritance. Speak this word over lives and situations, speak it over our church and our city. There is something taking place beyond our comprehension that will change and transform this supposedly unreachable region so that His will and kingdom will come in power and authority. Life, in the name of Jesus! We speak it and we walk in it. As Daymond and I prayed one day, I saw a vision of people quick to respond to His presence and quick to follow His voice. This state was evident as I saw their faces were covered in flames. There was an intense fire as they had been with God and an intense joy in their smiles. Let it be! God is raising up a people in this hour, not a person or a super-ministry, but a people- a chosen race, a royal priesthood, and holy nation set apart to declare the praises of God. I began to see prophetically that key people, those instrumental for the next move of God’s Spirit, were coming in now- some lost and some already saved. We release right now that they are hearing the clear, articulate call of Jesus Christ as Peter and others heard Him say, “Come, follow me!” And they will do as they did, drop everything and follow Him. It’s happening because as God said, there is a gathering anointing upon us! God is so much bigger than we could ever imagine or think and we praise Him for it! He is speaking to people in dreams and visitations in the night. Jesus is calling and speaking to them and they are even seeing us and our church, hearing messages preached that they’ve never physically heard. Let’s release this into homes and neighborhoods, into the college campus and office buildings. We speak it into young and old, businessmen and stay-at-home parents, musicians and singers.
